Could you please follow below steps?
1.Please check if the HDMI,VGA or mini-DP cable is plugged to the correct input ports of On-Lap.
2. Please select "auto search" in "Input source" of OSD menu.
3.Please unplug and plug the video cable
If still no display,please contact Gechic's distributor for warranty service or further inspection.
Normally the situation shows the video format On Lap monitor received was out of its spec. For example, On-lap1303H's resolution is 1920x1080.The suggested input resolution is 1920x1080(60Hz). Please check if your computer outputs the correct resolution and frequency?

Is the main-display of your notebook 1366x768 or 1600x900?
When "Duplicated mode" is selected,the computer will choose the lower resolution. Since the main display of notebook has lower resolution,computer displays the lower one instead of 1080P.
This problem shall be cause by the insufficient power to the monitor.
Please use 5V-2A adapter to power on On-Lap.
Please insert the two plugs of USB cable for more power supply.
Please reduce the brightness or volume until the flashing is gone.
Please do use Gechic's cable and adapter due some thin USB cables in the market is not capable for supplying power.
All of the On Lap monitors is designed as 5V powered. However, the lowest power consumption model still requires 1A currency. If your laptop's USB power output is too low to support On Lap monitor, the Monitor can't be power on.
Solution:
A)Please change to 5V 2A power adapter for power supply
B)Please power on the monitor first to modify the brightness=30 and voice volume =0 via OSD. After then, power the monitor by USB ports of laptop and check the result.
Capacitive button needs to first receive 5V power from USB port in order to function normally. Please connect to USB port first, wait for On-Lap to display GeChic logo then connect to HDMI port. Afterwards capacitive buttons can be used normally.
1. Please check your USB power & touch cable is connected to the correct port of On Lap Monitor. The correct USB port is USB logo one, not DCIN one.( USB port with DCIN logo only supports power in .
Please check if a new "USB input device" had added to the list of "Human Interface Devices" in "Device Manager" of Control Panels. If not, please check above connection again. If yes, your touch monitor shall response now.
2.If your laptop system is Windows 7, you may need to do "Tablet PC setting" to assign On Lap monitor as a touch monitor.
plug On Lap monitor to laptop -->click [Control Panel]-> search" Tablet PC setting"--> choose"2 display:HDMI monitor"--> calibration
3.If your laptop OS is Windows CE Embedded(not windows7 Embedded), you may need to install other driver to simulate the Monitor as mouse mode. If your OS is Linus/Ubantu/Android, please active"HID multitouch panels" while establishing kernel, and the external touch monitor can be supported. Or email Gechic for Linux driver.
Please connect the On-Lap touch monitor to your computer first.
Computer won't show the Tablet PC function if no touch screen is connected.
In Windows 7/8.1,please use "Tablet PC" to set up it.
In Windows 10,please search "Calibration" in "Settings". Then select first program to alignment the display and touch screen.
The power noise or strong electromagnetic filed may cause the wrong response.
Please make sure that there is no lamp,equipment or other stuff with strong electromagnetic field near On-Lap touch monitor.
Please connect On-Lap touch monitor to the USB ports of notebook and won't connect notebook to the AC power socket on the wall.
If your laptop does not show these two options :
"Portrait" or "Portrait (rotate)”, that might be caused by the limitation of graphic card. Or the graphic function of CPU doesn't support display rotation. For example, as we knew, Sony VPCZ226GW and VPCSB25FW don't support portrait display or display rotation function.
1)Please check your On Lap model name. 1301/1302/1501/1305/1306 don't support speaker function 2)Please confirm you use HDMI cable not VGA cable due VGA doesn't support voice output 3)Please check the voice volume setting on OSD is not 0 or low 4)Please confirm speaker setting of your laptop is set as HDMI monitor 5) If above are all not, please plug a headphone to the headphone output port of monitor and make sure whether voice out or not. If not, please contact Gechic Service.
On-Lap's audio jack is for audio output ,not input.
Users can not input the audio. When connecting a cable to On-Lap's headphone jack,On-Lap will turn off the internal speakers.
Sorry.We can not help to change it.The black area was made by iPhone.
It seems that the computer doesn't support the resolution of On-Lap monitor.A new BIOS software updated is requested.The recommended video input for 2501C is 1366x768(60Hz).
Could you please check with your computer mainboard supplier if this mainboard support 1366x768(60Hz) output?
Please use 5V-2A AC adapter to power the Monitor. You may enter Windows control panel>> device manager, and check whether the monitor is on the list of "USB input device".
If not, the connector or cable could be defective.Please try another USB cable.
Mac OS doesn't suppoet touch monitor.
The cursor will react when user touching the screen.However,the cursor's location could be wrong and it doesn't support the gesture.
The cursor always response on the main display instead of second display while touching the screen. Mac OS doesn't have the alignment function,either.
Please contact your camera manufacturer to confirm whether your camera supports video display on camera's screen and video output external screen at the same time while recording a video.
If possible, please confirm the HDMI output settings of the camera are correct.
Please consult camera supplier if your camera can output video to both embedded display and external monitor while video shooting.If it can,pls check if the settings of HDMI output are correct.
Some of the digital cameras like Nikon D7100 and Canon 5D would turn off “Live View” feature under HDMI-CEC settings.
Please disable the “HDMI-CEC” functionality in the camera when you setup the 1305H/1102H/1102I monitor as live-view monitor for your DSLR/digital camera.
Please use Apple's “USB-C digital AV multiport adapter”. Connect the adapter's USB-C plug to MacBook and then uses HDMI cable supplied with On-Lap monitor to plug to the adapter and the montior.

1. Use GeChic USB cable to power On-Lap monitor by connecting to 5V-2A charger or power bank.
2. Connect On-Lap monitor to Macbook with the Micro HDMI to HDMI-A video cable.
※The USB-A (female) port on Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter cannot supply enough power to On-Lap monitor, monitor won’t turn on without sufficient power.
Please enter OSD's "Aspect Ratio." And then turn off "Overscan" to solve the problem of the screen images being enlarged.
Except dual channels, all of the PS4 games' sound effects have third bass vocal channel. Since the audio output of our monitor only supports "two channel," please make sure the audio settings of PS4 is set as two channels.
Step 1: Select "Off" in "AUTO SEARCH" and select "HDMI 1" in the "Input source". Power off the On-Lap monitor to save the settings.
Step 2: Connect On-Lap monitor, HDMI extender and computer together.
Step 3: Turn on the computer and On-Lap monitor. (It doesn't matter which one is on first.)
1.Please check whether the USB Type-C port on your PC or smartphone supports DP Alt mode. If the device only supports USB signal, the video image cannot be output.
2.Please use the original USB Type-C video cable included in the box. Some USB Type-C cables on the market only support power and USB signal, and do not support DP video output.
3.When the monitor with PC or smartphone both stay poweron, please reconnect the USB Type-C cable again.
On Lap monitors equip with 2 channel speakers. Please set up the 2 ch. options or stereo output rather than 5.1 ch. in game console or DVD player. Thus, all sounds can be played through On Lap monitors.
