Q: Why the brightness and volume of M153U monitor can not be adjusted?

When the M153U monitor is connected to the computer by one USB Type-C cable merely and powered through the computer’s USB-C (or Thunderbolt 4) port, M153U will be automatically turned into the “Low Power Consumption Mode.” Since the input power is only around 2A, the M153U monitor will limit the brightness to “30” and the volume to “0”, and these settings cannot be adjusted manually.
📌 To adjust the brightness and volume, please connect the 65W PD power adapter to M153U monitor and turn off the Low Power Mode in the OSD menu. Then the adjustment of brightness and volumne will be back to normal.
